A diagnostics start-up developed a machine learning (ML) algorithm to enhance the success of lung imaging with CT scans. By enhancing diagnostic capabilities, the technology improves treatment decisions and outcomes. The CEO and VP of Clinical needed to identify a use case and describe the value-in-use of this artificial intelligence solution.
ACTION
Health Market Experts co-developed a cost-in-use model (current state vs. future state) and co-wrote a marketing white paper showing the technology’s health economy. We conducted literature search, interviewed thought leaders and clinicians to map the patient journey and identify benefits and costs of adoption. We developed an economic model and drafted white paper on value.
RESULT
Provided the client with increased clarity of the value proposition. Delivered material suitable for marketing and in discussions and negotiations with clinicians and hospital decision makers.
